Pastor Jermaine M. Sanders

Jermaine M. Sanders is the founder and senior pastor of ORF.
" Pastor Jay" as he is affectionately called by his congregation is
married to Talisha Sanders, his lovely bride of 9 years with their 3
children Jermaine II, Jordan and Jaden they strive to set the example
of a model Christian family. Pastor Jay is a full time employee of the
Elkhart fire dept where he has happily served his city for the past 71/2
years.
Pastor Jay began his Christian walk and ministry training as a member
of St James A.M.E where he served under the ministry of Rev. Franklin
Breckenridge. After taking the Building Healthy Leaders(BHL) class
from Dr. Malcolm Weber of the Living Faith Fellowship Church. Pastor
Jay was given the pastoral call. Never one to hesitate Pastor J
received the vision to seek lost souls in search of the true and living
God and ran with it. Seeing the need for a non denominational church
focusing on the urban community, The Ol' Rugged fellowship was
born. Pastor Jay was ordained by Pastor Wayne Malone of Open Gate
Praise and deliverance ministry by whom he is still mentored and
supported. He is currently a student of Bethel College studying
Theology.
Pastor Jay's preaching gift is full of scripture, passion, insight with
just the right amount of humor. Often drawing on life testimony and
relevant issues, Pastor Jay is able to reach across cultural and
economic lines to share the Gospel. His love for the condition of the
hearts of God's people and the unsaved draws him to the up close and
personal teachings of Christ that bring strength and wisdom to
everyday of the Christian journey. Blending his dedication to the heart
of Christ through his word, his passion for the pulpit with his Gift of
Gospel Rap, Pastor Jermaine is one of a kind!
